A Muddy Hike

Thanks to some crazy Kentucky weather, it was about 70 degrees in January. This means perfect hiking weather!! Anna and I made a muddy climb up to a neat little cave and watched hundreds of buzzards circle over the Kentucky river.

Student teaching so far

I'm loving my student teaching placement here at Wilmore Elementary! I have an amazing cooperating teacher and awesome students!! I've gotten to try out their projects, come up with some new ideas, and I've even been given some drawings of myself that students have done. :)

Flashdance

Hannah and I got tickets for Christmas to Flashdance off broadway!!! A perfect sister date :)

Highbridge Walk

The weather has been unusually warm this winter, but I'm not complaining! Anna and I took a nice walk around Highbridge and down to the river.

A Cabin in Tennessee

Our family spent a few days in a cute little cabin near Gatlinburg. Of course there were plenty of card games, snacks, and Netflix. :). Being surrounded by the snow covered woods was such a peaceful way to wrap up my Christmas break.

New Years Eve

Gatlinburg at New Years can be pretty hectic! But we had a good time listening to a local band, checking out the shops, and playing in the arcade. Watching the ball drop was exciting to watch too!

Hello Snow!

After an unusually warm fall and winter so far, we've finally gotten to wake up to a little bit of snow!! :)
