A Visit to the Village

This past Sunday we took a trip to Bill's village where he worked during Peace Corps. We enjoyed a day of hanging out with the locals and teaching the kids how to throw an American football.

A Meaningful Mural

At ASOY, students have service learning projects every other Friday. Ours is working on a mural at an orphanage, where the kids paint along with us. :)

A Night of Storytelling

I loved getting to hear some of the students here at ASOY tell stories along with a professional African Storyteller! Such a fun evening here in Yaoundé!

It was Mr. Nyugha's birthday the other night!! Singing and celebrating at the boarding house is a good time with the other students here!

Sunday Afternoon Stroll

It was nice to get out and go on a walk with Anjana, Nikky, and her dog, Girl. :). We made our way up to one of the radio towers that sits on top of one of Yaoundé's many hills that surrounds the city.
