Is that a "scaldron"?

Today we tried to hike Natural Bridge here in the Bridge Bay area, but it was closed due to bear season. So we made the drive to West Thumb and hiked the Lake Overlook loop. It was a breathtaking view at the top, and it was awesome to see some backcountry thermal vents alongside the trail (which Liz called "scaldrons"). :) It was great to have our new coworkers from Singapore come along with us too! Of course there always has to be some kind of adventure on our hikes, so we had to work around a herd of elk without moving too close to make them uncomfortable. We also found some huge wolf prints along our trail!

    1. Actually Hannah, right now a lot of Yellowstone reminds me of Glacier. It's probably because a lot of it seems to be cold and rainy :) But when we're deeper in the woods it's really beautiful :)
